Treetops Nursing Home provides Specialist Nursing Care designed to support adults who have complex needs through Alzheimer’s or other forms of Dementia including memory loss, psychiatric, physical and psychological problems which require 24 hour care.

With many years of experience we specialise in offering professional nursing care and rehabilitation services by skilled qualified nurses (with Registered Mental & General Nursing qualifications) who combine the best nursing knowledge and tender loving care in a secure comfortable environment. We pride ourselves on providing a highly professional service 24 hours a day assisting with activities including eating, washing and bathing for those less able to fulfill or perform these and other daily tasks. All the staff understand the importance of giving the Residents privacy, dignity and independence which they provide with warmth and professionalism. The staff are also trained to take each individual Residents’ feelings into consideration.

Stimulation

Treetops offers various activities enabling the Residents to join in Arts & Crafts, Quizzes, Musical Movement, Bingo, Sing a long, watching Television, listening to music etc. Additionally individuals come to entertain.

Staff are also trained to interact and encourage the Residents to join in with activities. We believe that stimulation is a very important part in Residents’ welfare and that encouragement and motivation are effective ways of helping people maintain their independence for as long as possible. The staff also offer crucial emotional and practical support to family and friends.

Tastefully Decorated

All rooms are tastefully decorated and centrally heated with a sophisticated call bell system and many benefit from en-suite facilities. Treetops’ has special baths, showers and toilet facilities. There are large communal lounges and a conservatory with air conditioning units where Residents can relax if they so wish. Visitors are made very welcome.

There are spacious dining rooms where delicious home cooked meals are served and specialist dietary requirements are catered for. Alternatively, residents can choose to eat in the privacy of their rooms.

Treetops has a garden in front and a courtyard at the back ideal for sitting in the sun.

We Understand

G.P’s, Optician, Dentist and a Chiropodist attend regularly and a hairdresser visit weekly. We aim to enhance the Service we provide to the Residents and are continually appraising our understanding of the Residents requirements. We achieve this by training staff, enhancing our system and developing our understanding and knowledge across our business for the benefit of Residents and relatives alike.

All care is carried out in a respectful manner ensuring that dignity is maintained and the right to privacy and confidentiality is observed at all times.

Visiting

Friends and Relatives are encouraged to visit at any reasonable time and take an active role if they wish.

Scale of Fees

All fees are by negotiation with our Administrator, the Care Manager, CCG Partnership Commissioning Unit and the Relatives.
